Four sets going to two clear points

Match Report
Torexe Spitfires v Exeter University 2
With the first four sets all going to two clear points, how close to a match win can you get with out picking up any points? It was 28-30 in set one as two very evenly matched teams took the set into extra time. Sets two and three both ended 23-25 in the Universities favour. Spitfire upped their game in the fourth set looking for that elusive set win and reached 24 points but to the frustration of our largest home crowd this season, still ended up on the losing side 24-26. After a full two hours it was the Exeter University who took the match win and maximum points from the fixture.
Well played to everyone: Tom Fleming, Will Mulligan, Jacob Towl, Anna Lang, Ellie Self, Karis Lang, Jenny Caton-Pike, Kirsty Tapp, Nadia Kelly-Smith
The Player of the Match nomination for Spitfires went to Tom Feming.
