Hi Folks,
Entries are now open for the Coaver Evening League on Thursdays, via the Coaver League Facebook page.
The league will start on Thursday 22nd May, entry fee is £20 per team or £10 per team if all players are already Coaver Club members.
Please enter via the Facebook page, you will need a team name, preferred division and players names.
For those new to the Coaver Thursday evening league, it is a four-a side league, played on the grass lawns at County Hall on Topsham Road. It starts at about 6pm and runs until about 8:30, you usually play 3 matches an evening, with divisions alternating, so you either player 1st, 3rd and 5th or 2nd, 4th and 6th. Ideally you need a team of 5 or 6 players, to make sure that you have at least four there every week, although it is possible to “borrow” a player if a team is short. As it is outside it is weather dependent and the organisers will post on facebook on the day (usually not until 4:30 to 5pm) if the evening is going to be called off.
For those who don’t have access to the facebook page please get together the above information and let a member of the committee know and we will try to find someone with access or who to contact with the information.
If you don’t have a team and want to play, please let the coaches know at the Friday evening training sessions.
Remember that there is no training this Friday as it is a Bank Holiday!
Happy Easter!
Rachel
