1st Torexe Saga Louts
It was another great day of volleyball for our older members as they took part in the 2025 SW Vets Handicap tournament at the Riverside LC in Exeter. The top positions were once again all keenly fought with teams only separated by one or two points. This year it was Torexe Saga louts who came out on top, beating Cardiff Celts Silver Dragons in the final. Kernow Kings took third place in their match against Plymouth Mayflower, with last year’s winners, Wiltshire Mavericks in fifth place.
6th Torexe Old Guard
The event has been running since 1994, City of Bristol, Whitfield and Wiltshire Mavericks had each won the event three times, but well behind both Torexe and Speedwell, who had clocked up six wins each. Today’s victory by Torexe, their seventh in the events history, now moves them one ahead of everyone else.
